Yes, we loved MoviePass!
But shakeup after shakeup, and disappointing and disenfranchising customers for the past few years, it was finally time for the startup to die quietly. It’s a shame that a model based on all-you-can-eat movie consumption could not work under current market conditions (or competition).
I personally saw 13 movies for a total of about $4.76/movie, so it wasn’t all bad.
