Step 1: Buy the right lamp

There are a lot of choices for buying a Dukane ImagePro 8767 projector lamp so it can be confusing finding the best projector lamp. Look for the seal of approval so you know you are buying an authentic projector lamp and not a generic lamp. While generics have a slightly smaller price tag, they end up costing you more money on the long run due to their shorter lamp life and being prone to explosions. Since they have been created with toxic materials and without the proper safeguards to protect your eyesight, generics also pose a health risk to you. Step 2: Recognize end of life

After your lamp has been operating for 2000 hours (up to 3000 hours in Eco mode), the LAMP indicator will blink red. Replace the projector lamp immediately when you see the message :The lamp has reached the end of its usable life.   • Reduce the risk of electrical shock by disconnecting the power cord on the projector.
  • Reduce the risk of severe burns by allowing the projector to cool for at least 45 minutes. It should be cool to the touch.

Resetting the lamp timer

It’s important to set the lamp timer so the Dukane ImagePro 8775 can accurately track the life of the newly installed Dukane 456-8775 projector lamp.
To reset the lamp timer go to the Dukane ImagePro 8775 Default Menu. Scroll down to Clear Lamp Hour Meter to reset the lamp timer.
